    Sending an Email For ProductCamp DC 

    As part of the launch for the new ProductCamp DC web site, I sent an email out to all the MeetUp Group members. In order to do this, you go to Group Tools, Email Members. Then, This screen comes up.

    It’s nice, it allows you to segment out the member list by several different factors.

    Kvantificering Mit arbejde: Charting with Daytum 

    I’ve started logging my hours on all my projects. This will let me do an ROI on them, or at least get a good idea of how much I’m putting in to some of the projects I’ve got going.

    This is a chart that I’ve made available at http://daytum.com/PaulSizemore; unfortunately they don’t have if ram-able widgets, and I doubt they will develop them. The developer responsible got a job at Facebook. Facebook, stealing all the good talent.

    A Burndown Graph of ProductCampDC Signups 

    In order to hit our goal for ProductCamp DC attendance, we need to have about 1 signup per day at http://www.meetup.com/ProductCampDC/

    I made this graph representing the needed rate of ticket sales, and the actual. It’s manually updated, so that means someone has to check the meet up page, then update a google spreadsheet. It’s routine work, and helps everyone see if we are falling behind in our primary objectiveget people to attend.

    Milestones:

    Marts 14 – Email send out to all MeetUp Members telling them about the event and new web site.

    Lanceret mere end NASA: My Site Launches 

    I år havde jeg en beslutning om at lancere et par steder, og tænker på NASA, Jeg ønskede at lancere en masse flere steder, end de lancerer nye rekorder. Jeg sætter sammen denne Google-regneark til at hjælpe mig med at holde styr på projektets startdatoer, og slutdatoer. Ufærdige sites omfatte ende af diagrammet.

    Et par af de sites jeg arbejder med andre mennesker, så de kan strække sig på i mange måneder.

    GoLive on the Horizon for @PCampDC New Site 

    We are very close to going live with the new site. It’s been an effort
    not to creep; scope creep is often the killer. I’ve changed my name to
    ProductCamp, instead of creating a new user for the admin account, og
    we made a few other changes. It’s looking good, and I’m confident that
    the WordPress backend will fill the news of the organization for years
    to come.

    There were a lot of requests for changes that were graphic treatments,
    and not really part of the minimum requirements.

    A few of the outstanding items:
    • Remove line on home page above the H1 tagged content.
    • Remove border on all the linked images.
    • Move Share this button to the top.
    • Remove the Keyboard Shortcuts and Toggle Comments

    The next planning meeting is Thursday, we should be ready to go live
    with the new site by then.

    It’s the first step to getting to the organization goals of:
    100 participants
    $12,000 in Sponsor value (inking or direct dollars)
